Welcome to RWS Engineering.  We specialise in bespoke design, welding and fabrication of balustrade from stainless steel, iron and copper. 

Our services also include pontoon and boating access equiment manufacture for seashore, river bank harbours and moorings.

About Us

RWS Engineering was established by Roger Spurdle and has been delivering excellence since March 2006.

This family business (Roger and son Lori) began by supplying engineering services to the commercial marine industry. The company later diversified and now also offers design and fabrication of bespoke steel products for the construction, structural and architectural industries across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Dorset, as well as steel and glass balustrade and balconies across South Devon, the South Hams, Torbay (Torquay, Paignton & Brixham), Plymouth and Exeter.

Certifications and Competence Assurance

With CSCS Coded Welders among the team, as well as SSSTS level, CITB accredited operatives, they are able to offer services, such as welding, on-site, as well as in their Brixham unit.

Pontoons & Access Equipment

The company also manufactures pontoons and access equipment for seashore and river bank harbours and moorings.

Additonal Metal Treatment Services

We can access additional services from our trusted partners, include steel galvanising, hot zinc spraying, shot blasting and powder coating.
